Interview

  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
    "Ahhh.. isn't it a blessing to be where we are, enjoying the present moment, where we are right this very second?" I'd revel in this luxurious moment, where the world stops just for you to enjoy it. You've made it here, despite everything you've gone through to reach this. Maybe we'd exchange our backstories--all the hardships, the tests, the bizarre, the magical, the impossible that we worked through to reach this precious moment. Ah, yes. We deserve this. Cheers. *clink*
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
    I'm quite flexible. (;
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
    1. creative minds
    2. my well-equipped kitchen (I love to cook!)
    3. my queen-sized bed
    4. sneakers (always on my feet - love to dance)
    5. lube (;
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
    In my personal philosophy, I try to live my life through love - meaning practicing empathy, understanding, generosity, kindness, care, and open-mindedness. I strive to never judge, to consider the opposing view, ask why things are the way they are, and always try to come up with a constructive solution. And if there is no solution, then no bother! No need to let things that are out of my control concern me. Life is too short to not enjoy this precious life we're given!
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
    Lately, I've been trying to finish "A Little Life" by Hanya Yanagihara. Been taking dance classes, and riding my longbaord around the neighborhood to stay active. And when I'm feeling social, which is half the time, I link up with friends to catch up over dinner or a movie at home. (:
  • What do you do for fun?
    On a typical weekend, you'll probably find me on the dance floor with good company. Always looking forward to bumping and grinding (;

    But during the weeknights, I'm usually home cooking up a storm. I love to take a crack at recipes I haven't made before--it expands my palette, my appreciate of food, and my repertoire to impress at dinner parties! I do love to play the part of a good host.
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
    I try to set up a trip at least once or twice a year to explore new places I haven't been before. I've seen a few cities in Europe (Berlin, Pairs, Belgium, Prague, Milan) and I did a mini tour of South East Asia (Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, India). Still trying to set foot in all the states in the USA--I fear I haven't even made a dent. But the hardest part is always coming back home!

    I don't travel nearly enough as I would like to, which is partially why I'm in this business. So that I can save up to travel around the globe, both across the country and internationally. It'd be a shame to live on this earth but only know a very small piece of it.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
    I like that I make effort to maintain a positive, light-hearted disposition and try to be as open-minded and empathetic as possible. I only want to put out positivity and care into the world--it's already polluted by so much misunderstanding and selfishness. And I'm innately curious, so I don't claim to know everything, but I try to always ask questions to learn more and expand my perspective.
