Interview

  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
Travel is a major part of my life. Besides the chance to experience something completely new, I welcome the challenges travel forces us to grow through.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
Wherever people are expressing themselves to their full potential, however that may be. Even if it's not my style or taste, if I see someone living and creating for a moment I make sure to receive and appreciate their intention.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
Intention, open-mindedness, adventure, curiosity, and action.
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
My passion for freedom and self determination. When I want something, I set out to do it. When I am curious about something, I learn about it. I value my time in this life more than anything, and i intend not to waste any of it.
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
I lived in western China for a few years, and while there got to experience more than I thought a kid from New York City ever would. Being able to see the Earth in such raw and outstanding beauty had such a humbling and inspiring impact on me. From camping in the Gobi Desert; off-roading through the Mongolian grasslands; swimming in the jungles of Indonesia; hiking the Himalayas; and skinny dipping through the turquoise rainforests lagoons, I couldn't possibly choose a single "best" experience.
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a total Sun worshiper and I try to go to the beach as much as possible, it's important to visit the edge of the earth. The beach is a complete sensory experience to me. The wind engulfing your entirety, the sound of the waves cresting in your ears, the Sun's warmth cascading down your body...
  • What do you do for fun?
I am happiest when I am experiencing something new, but so often there is so much newness in familiar experiences when a new perspective is introduced. For instance, architecture is my kink ;) We could be walking through by a building I have studied for years and completely miss out on details that your eye picks up on. One of my favorite ways to pass time is to walk through the city with friends see how different aesthetics and design affect the communities they're in. Let's take a walk and show each other our favorite buildings. I like to say I grew up in museums, I would cut high school and go to the Met instead. I'd be lying if I said I still don't shirk responsibility for a good museum day. How does that sound for a date?
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
By expelling fear from my life. I have experienced so much in life because so little intimidates me. I always keep a perspective that all experiences, even negative ones, are opportunities to learn about ourselves. So many of our insecurities are completely unfounded and end up only limiting our happiness. I try have control over my insecurities so they do not have control over me. Life is worth living.
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
My verbal communication skills. My curiosity for people and culture has crafted me into a superior conversationalist. Friends have often commented on the impression I make on people through my interest and ability to talk to anyone.
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
My greatest personality trait is my endless curiosity about the world and the people in it. I approach each interaction, event, and community as an opportunity to learn and broaden my own understanding. Through living with an excitement to explore new experiences I am able to forever keep pushing my own horizons and perspectives.
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
I was raised to see the world as a balance of different energies. Therefor, I am always incorporating the flow of energy into everything I do, everything. This makes for very easy going social interactions and very tantric physical ones.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
My ability to find beauty in every situation. We too often get frustrated when things don't go our way, but when we look for meaning or lessons in every experience then every experience becomes significant.
