Interview

  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
That I'm genuine in my caring. That my love and integrity is authentic and the real deal. That boundaries are healthy and important to be celebrated. That the environment deserves to be treated well, so that we might continue enjoying it.
That I praise creativity and play, and caring. (:
  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
Cooking, fermenting, bicycling, foraging, arting, hiking to find good watering holes. I like to read, engage in art, make music, spend time doing silly stuff with friends.
Movie nights, slumber parties, adventures, the list keeps going. What about you? What hobbies are you proud of?
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
The extra mile shows up in my smile. I am relentless in my being kind and loving to myself so that I know what it's like to be kind and loving towards another. Life's hard and I'm willing to do the hard work so that others can experience the ease that comes after.
  • What do you do for fun?
Art! I love getting to explore all the different forms of art that people make in all of their different mediums. Like the show Sense8, or some of the sculptures or memorials around DC, like the Einstein sculpture! All precious expressions of one's experience.
And I like to make my own, in forms of music, video, food, drink, and most often, in crafting custom immersive interactive experiences. (:
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
Honestly, it was a moment with a dear colleague who held space for me to show my darkest aspects. It helped me heal so much and gave me permission to show up as fully for others. I'll never forget how powerful, kind, and precious that moment was. Unforgettable.
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
My sincerity and genuine heart. That mixed with my playful rebelliousness. It creates a cosmic force which unbelievable experiences can come out of. It's pretty neat, and I'm grateful for the gift.
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
My kindness, patience, and persistence. I understand how much we've all been through and I can hold space for the suppressed stuff to be revealed and addressed. I also care so if you're willing to go there, I'll be right there with you.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
My specialty? Listening. I can pay incredible attention and listen so closely and carefully I can hear the whispers of people's souls. It's humbling to have access to such sacred spaces and I'm grateful to the folks who open those doors which allow me to do such powerful work. Also, I am really good at speaking with the body. I can listen and then respond appropriately, giving the body what it's asking for rather than the overly loud and often rude mind.
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
    I used to travel to new place every month, and then my soul needed to rest. So I travel a lot less now, but will still make a trip should it prove enticing enough! (;
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
Moderate leaning on healthy. I've been mostly geared towards rehabilitation to make up for all of the ridiculousness that I put my body through. So much trauma to be explored and integrated! (:
So I focus more on creating a highly functional body and soul, which means giving my body the nutrients it needs, and also giving my soul some good mezcal and a delicious chocolate chip cookie from time to time because otherwise I'm not putting my physique to good use, and that's a shame!
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
I'm a bridge builder. I swam across many bodies of water to reach foreign lands and understand them that I might be able to serve as a translator and mediator between ideas that might seem scary and new, yet hold such capacity for growth.
I did improvisational dance, and played collegiate rugby. I led multi-day outdoor trips, and played a lot of computer games. I've been extremely extroverted, and extremely introverted. I've been hardcore religious, and hardcore not. I've been a scientist, and a pagan hippie.

These seemingly paradoxical perspectives gave me insight into others and myself and begin to make some sense in the world. I'm grateful, and excited to share what's possible.
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
I've went down all the different paths. I was relentless in my search for the truth, and then I found out that multiple truths exists at the same time.
We're all in this together, and life is weird and disorienting and it's all ok.
I don't have all the answers, and I've learned a LOT over these last few years. I grown a lot. And I want to share what I've learned that it might benefit you.
This life thing is hard at times, and I want you to know that I've found another way where it's a bit easier, lighter, more playful, and I want to show you what it's like so that you might have it in your life too.
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
My personally experienced trauma greatly influenced my offering to others.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
    A good night's rest,
    naps,
    high quality french toast,
    mezcal,
alone time to rejuvenate my energy levels.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
My sweet and playful nature; also my ability to enjoy food.
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
I genuinely care and give a shit.
